Contran Medical LLC

Autotransfusion / PRP Specialist

Cell Saver is a specific type of autologous blood transfusion, which involves recovering blood lost during surgery and re-infusing it back into the patient. It is used in surgical procedures where significant blood loss is anticipated. This technique helps to avoid risks associated with a blood bank transfusion.  Patients are excluded from this type of procedure if they have malignant neoplasms, infections or if operative fields are contaminated.
